ABOUT US
New London Family Dentistry was established in the early 1970’s by Dr. John Wilson in a small office on Main Street in New London. In 1993, Dr. Gregory Gutgsell and Dr. Wilson merged practices, and 10 years later, Dr. Darren Phipps joined the practice as Dr. Wilson retired. In 2008, Gutgsell & Phipps relocated to a completely rehabilitated building at 125 Newport Road. In 2024, Dr. Chris Clemens joined the practice, and the Gutgsell & Phipps name changed to New London Family Dentistry, to reflect an evolving practice as
Dr. Gutgsell cuts back on his work load in preparation for his eventual retirement.
We are in network with Northeast Delta Dental.

OUR SERVICES
No one wants to have a dental emergency. But they can happen to the best of us. One minute you are biting into a sandwich and the next thing you know half of your tooth is in your hand. One minute a pain that was nagging but dull is suddenly keeping you up at night.
We know that tooth pain can interfere with your ability to eat, drink, work, sleep and even think. We are here to help. We do our best to be able to see emergencies on the same day. Even if you are not in pain, such as when a tooth is broken or lost, it is still extremely important to be evaluated as soon as possible. Often time is of the essence and the first several hours after the incident or accident can determine the prognosis of the affected tooth.
And we will do whatever we can to get you back out of pain and back to your life.
